On Goodreads, I signed up to receive this book in return for a honest review. Now that I have finished the book, I am both pleased and slightly disappointed with it.
Although I did like the concept of the story, the way it was written felt jumbled and rushed. Besides the protagonists of both settings, the other characters lacked personality. The point of view change was a bit sloppy, but not enough to damage the plot. The climax appeared way too late in the story causing everything to feel fixed and fast.
The biggest mistake I found was the lack of editing. There were a few times where phrases were repeated. Also, some of the characters felt unnecessary to the plot and had lacked indivuality. The scenes in New York felt kinda cheesy when it came to Luke, Elle, and dating.
Overall, it was an okay read. I found most of it enjoyable and feel like the author has great potential to improve.
